In compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are unable to hold any personal information on respondents in our database. This came into effect on 25th May 2018, and changed the way companies collect and hold data on consumers, and what that data can be used for.

Our suppliers and ourselves are conscious of regulations that affect consumers, and our continuing relationship relies on all parties being compliant.

Although Attest respondents provide demographic information about themselves, we can’t ask them for personal information such as emails, addresses or names, so any questions requiring personal information in your surveys will be removed. This applies to both surveys you send to the Attest audience and those sent to your own audience. It is also considered PII to ask for data that collectively identifies a person; for instance if you're surveying your own employees and ask for team, age and seniority, if collectively this information narrows the possible respondents to one. It is also a breach of compliance to direct a respondent from a survey to another location in order to collect personal identifiable information (PII).
