Why is my survey slow?
Updated over a year ago

Why is my survey slow / response rates got slower?

There are various factors affecting the speed of completion, but often this is due to the survey metrics, mainly the incidence rate - the number of respondents qualifying to enter and complete your study based on the target audience criteria, including demographics and qualifying questions. The harder the target audience is to reach, the longer it takes to find these respondents and complete the survey.

What is survey boosting?

Making changes in the backend to make the survey more visible and attract more respondents to it. This usually involves a mix of actions like promoting the survey to make it more visible to the audience providers or adding extra qualifiers, if available, to try and increase the incidence rate.

When will my survey complete / can I get an estimate on the time it will take for the survey to fill?

Most surveys will complete between 2 days and 2 weeks, depending on some factors, including your target audience, respondents availability, country and the sample size. If your survey is taking longer to complete, reach out to us and we will give it a boost (see 'what is survey boosting?' above).
