If you are sending a survey to your own audience but the survey you are sending is not in English, you can change the base language to the desired language by adding some text to the URL you share with your own participants.

Changing the base language means that in-built options such as 'None', 'N/A', 'Other' and any instruction within the survey is in the language specified.

In order to do this, you will need to follow the below steps:

  1. Firstly, you must purchase the survey as normal (ensure you select 'Send to own audience' in the Audience section)

  2. Copy the link to share to your own participants

  3. Paste the URL and add ?language= to the end

  4. Find the language you wish to use on the table below and add the corresponding code to the end of the URL

  5. You can then send this URL to your participants

Your URL should now look something like this (using German as an example):

Note: Only languages available for selection in “send to Attest audience” are supported
