Fonts Available Within Atticus

Updated over 4 months ago

We’re currently researching different licensing options for allowing user imported fonts. We want to be sure to protect all our authors as well as ensure everything is safely and legally handled through Atticus.

In the meantime, there are a variety of fonts available for users to choose from, including decorative options for chapter headers as well as fonts ideal for print versions of your book.

For your Chapter Headings and Subheadings, you can choose from one of the Atticus preset fonts, or you can access the Fonts Library, allowing you to choose from a wide range of open access Google Fonts.

The Google Font Library is currently in Beta.

While the platform has been tested for general use and reliability, because of the extensive selection of 1500+ options, not every individual font and style has been thoroughly tested in all conditions. While efforts have been made to ensure the quality and compatibility of these fonts, there may still be some variations or unforeseen issues that arise as users explore the expanded font library.
Please be aware that while Google Fonts offers a wide range of options for creative expression, there may be occasional inconsistencies or quirks that emerge during use. Feedback and reports from users are valuable in helping to identify and address any issues, contributing to the ongoing improvement of the platform.

If you’d like to match the fonts in one of the preset themes, here is a reference guide:
