Although we haven't specifically tested Dragon dictation with Atticus, we have had mixed reports from authors who have used the two programs together. Some are able to use the two programs seamlessly, while others encounter various issues. Because Dragon Naturally Speaking is an extremely resource heavy program, these results seem to be heavily system-dependent.
If you would like to use Dragon dictation for your writing, but you’re having difficulty with using it in Atticus, we recommend either dictating into another program, saving that file as a .docx and then importing that file into Atticus, or using Dragon's Dictation box.
