Soft-returns (Shift + Enter) are an easy way to make minor changes to indents and spacing. If you use a soft return to move a line or sentence down the page or to the following page, the indent on that line will be suppressed.
You can also use Soft Returns between paragraphs or within block quotes or verse formatting to control the amount of space between each line.
