Atticus embeds the images exactly as they are uploaded. This means that color images will remain in color.
If you need to print in grayscale and your printer doesn't offer the option to choose between color and grayscale, here are two options:
Import the images to Atticus in grayscale: Before importing the images, convert them to grayscale using an image editing software or tool. This way, you have better quality control over the conversion process, and the images will be in grayscale when you print the PDF.
βConvert the PDF to Grayscale:
Open the PDF document in your PDF viewer.
Press CTRL + P on your keyboard to reveal the print menu.
Select "Microsoft Print to PDF" or a similar option from the Printer tab.
Tick the "Print in grayscale (black and white)" option.
Click the "Print" button to generate the grayscale version of the PDF.
Save the file with a new name and location to keep the original color PDF intact.
By following either of these methods, you can ensure that your PDF is ready for grayscale printing. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team. We're here to help you have a smooth and successful printing experience with Atticus.
