How do I format the Copyright Page?

Updated over 4 months ago

If you're using the copyright template generated by Atticus, the layout is pre-formatted to meet industry standards. However, if you prefer to create a custom-styled copyright page, you can delete the auto-generated template and follow these steps:

  1. Click on 'Add Chapter' in the left navigation pane to create a new chapter.

  2. Customize the content of the copyright page according to your preferences.

  3. Drag and drop the new chapter into the desired position in the left navigation pane.

Additionally, you can utilize the options available under the cog (gear icon) next to the chapter title to further enhance your custom copyright page. These options include:

  • Hide Chapter Image

  • Hide Page Number (affects PDF only)

  • Hide Chapter Heading: By selecting this option, you can hide the entire chapter heading, which includes the image, chapter number, title, and subtitle.

  • Hide Header/Footer: Use this option to hide the running header/footer section (affects PDF only)

  • Hide First Sentence Formatting: Selecting this option will prevent drop caps or small caps from being applied to the first sentence

  • Hide in Table of Contents (can also be used on Fullpage Images)

  • Use Smaller Chapter Title (affects PDF only): Reduce the size of the Chapter Title to set it apart or accommodate longer words
