Why aren’t my goals refreshing at the correct time?

Updated over 4 months ago

You may notice inconsistencies from time to time simply because Atticus was not able to retrieve the local time from your browser.

However, if you continue to experience issues, there are certain factors that can interfere with the process of detecting and displaying the local time from your browser:

  • VPN Usage: If you're using a VPN (Virtual Private Network), it can sometimes affect the accuracy of the timestamp as it may alter your device's perceived location, leading to discrepancies in the displayed time.

  • Browser Settings: Some browser settings or extensions may block the information needed to determine your local time, causing the timestamp to not update correctly.

  • Security Software: Anti-virus or firewall software on your computer can sometimes interfere with browser functionality, which may affect the timestamp.

  • Non-Standardized Reporting: Browsers do not have a standardized way of reporting local time, which can sometimes lead to variations and inconsistencies in how the local time is retrieved.
