If you are importing your docx into Atticus, and you upload the words with the hyphenation in them, Atticus is detecting hidden formatting, which causes the software to remove the hyphen. As we work on alleviating this for you and future users, I recommend typing out the words in full or manually typing back in the hyphen. This prevents Atticus from misreading the hyphen as a hidden formatting that needs to be removed.
Another solution is to turn off hyphenations in Formatting so that the software does not confuse the hyphenations you have in your words with the ones at the end of the sentence.
