Can I download Atticus on my iPad?

Yes, you can!

You can use Atticus in a web browser or install it as an app on your iPad. It also has some offline functionality, meaning you can write while offline, and it will sync to the server once you are back online.

You do need to be online to import and export files, however, and you'll have to make sure you're logged into Atticus before you lose your internet connection.

Note: We strongly recommend only downloading Atticus on your desktop or laptop as sizing can appear different.

How To Install On Your iPad

  1. Open Safari:

    1. Since you’re on your iPad, you will need to use Safari to download Atticus.

    1. Type this address into your browser bar and login to Atticus.

  2. Install the Atticus web app

    1. In the top right of Atticus, you’ll see an Install App icon. If that button doesn’t work on your system, you can find a similar icon at the right end of your browser’s search bar. Click either icon, and it will ask you if you want to install Atticus. Click install, and the app will open automatically.

Depending on your operating system, there may be slight variations.

Some systems will automatically ask if you want to Pin Atticus to the Taskbar. If you don’t get that option, you can right-click on the Atticus doggo icon in your dock or taskbar and pin it for easy future access that way.

You can also search your computer for the app, and then drag and drop it where you would like it to live, either in a folder or on your desktop.
