I accidentally deleted my book. What do I do?

If you've accidentally deleted a book from your Atticus account, please reach out to our support team right away — we'll do our best to get your content restored!

What We'll Need From You

To look into restoring your book, our team will need the following:

  1. The title of your deleted book.

  2. A snapshot file of your book.

    1. You can download a snapshot by clicking Edit Book Details in the top left, then selecting "Download Snapshot." This will export a .json file that will need to be sent to our support team in order to work on restoring your book.

Friendly Tip: To avoid accidental deletions in the future, you can regularly download snapshots of your books as a backup via Edit Book Details → Download Snapshot.

Once you've sent over the information above, our team will look into restoring your book as quickly as possible.
