The "Auto Publish" feature in our Shopify review app allows you to automate the publishing of customer reviews based on their star ratings. This feature is particularly useful for store owners who want to highlight positive reviews and manage lower-rated reviews more selectively.
How to Use the "Auto Publish" Feature:
Navigate to the Auto Publish Settings:
Go to the Settings page and locate the "Auto Publish" feature.
Select Desired Star Ratings:
You will see checkboxes next to star ratings ranging from 1 to 5.
Check the boxes corresponding to the star ratings you wish to auto-publish. For example, if you want to automatically publish reviews with 4 and 5 stars, check the boxes next to "4 stars" and "5 stars."
Save Your Settings:
After selecting the desired star ratings, click the "Save" button to apply the changes.
How It Works:
Auto Publishing: Reviews that match the star ratings you've selected will be automatically published on your storefront.
Manual Review: Reviews with star ratings that are not selected will not be auto-published. You will have the option to manually review and publish these as you see fit.
💡Best Practice:
If you aim to showcase predominantly positive reviews, it's recommended to select higher star ratings like "4 stars" and "5 stars" for auto-publishing. This way, you can ensure that only the most favorable reviews are displayed automatically, while you can manually handle the rest.
