How Does the Translation Feature Function?
Audien syncs the language you've established in your Shopify admin. Click here to learn how to manage language in Shopify admin.
As customers toggle languages in your store, Audien's widgets' language will automatically adjust to reflect the change.
Customizing Translations
Head to "Display Reviews".
Select the "Language" tab and pick the desired language containing the text you wish to alter.
Edit the text.
Click the "Save" button to confirm changes.
Variables
When editing, please do not alter the content within {{}} as these are variables. You may only rearrange their order within the string.
Variables supported by Audien Review:
{{review_number}}: Total number of reviews for the current product.
{{order_number}}: Total number of orders the reviewer has placed.
{{discount}}: Value of the discount.
Tips for Locating Specific Texts for Modification
Having trouble finding a particular text in the admin section?
Visit your store's front pages and note its active language.
Copy the widget text you wish to alter.
Navigate to "Display Reviews" > "Language" and pick the language identified in Step 1.
Expand the section corresponding to the widget where you sourced the text in Step 2.
Press "Ctrl/Cmd" + "F" at the same time on your keyboard.
Paste the copied text into the search box that appears.
You'll now be directed to the desired text, ready for modification.
