Place the battery horizontally in the vertical pipe mounting hole as high as possible so that the battery mounting teeth fit into the notches on the mounting rail on the rear wall of the vertical pipe.

Press the battery vertically down approx. 1-1.5 cm until the battery is in place. Be aware that connecting a battery can sometimes require considerable force.

Make sure that the locking handle on the top of the battery is securely locked.
