Applies to: The ES210/Circular family with the removable stem-mounted battery and components shown in the original manual. Confirm your exact variant, including Super LR, before selecting a battery, charger, tyre or repair. This is not an Agaru, Alturo, ES One 10 or Augment 360 guide.
Illustrated reference: Download the original ES210 manual PDF for the diagrams. Its historic commercial offers and legal age/road-use statements do not establish your current contract or current local law. Use the updated guidance below and the terms applicable to your order.
Before riding: Check the tyres, brakes, lights, handlebar, folding latch and battery mounting. Wear suitable protective equipment, ride alone and observe the maximum load marked for your variant; the original manual describes 100 kg. Avoid ice, snow, deep water, dangerous surfaces, stunts and riding under the influence. Check current local age, road-use, helmet and insurance rules.
First assembly: Release the folded stem from its rear-fender hook and raise it upright. Close the folding lever and secure the fixing ring. Fit the brake lever and handlebar grips as shown, observing the correct thread direction. Check that the steering and all fittings are secure. Do not loosen unidentified folding adjustments or ride with play; ask support if the latch or assembly will not secure.
Folding: Park and switch off. Release the fixing ring, open the folding lever, lower the stem and gently engage the rear-fender hook. Keep fingers clear of the mechanism. Reverse the matching sequence to unfold and confirm the latch is secure before riding. Do not force a blocked mechanism.
Power and riding modes: Hold the power button to switch on or off. On the control unit described in this manual, a short function-button press cycles the supported riding modes and two short presses operate the headlight. Display colours and available functions can differ by variant. A mode selection does not change legal construction speed or approval.
Start and stop: Push off with one foot before gently applying the throttle, then place both feet securely on the deck. Release the throttle to slow and use the brake lever progressively. Use any auxiliary brake only as described for the fitted component; do not rely on a damaged fender. Come to a full stop before stepping off. If braking is weak, the wheel locks unexpectedly or the scooter cuts out, stop using it and contact support.
Cruise control: Use only where supported by the exact variant and lawful locally. The historic control unit describes activation after holding a steady speed for six seconds and cancellation with throttle or brake input. Do not enable a prohibited feature or use this instruction to bypass a country restriction.
Remove the battery: Switch off and disconnect the charger. Release the battery latch, slide the removable battery upward and then withdraw it horizontally as illustrated. Support its weight and keep metal objects away from contacts. Do not open the battery casing or apply this procedure to a fixed battery.
Refit the battery: Align the mounting teeth with the rail, place the battery into the mount and slide it down about 1–1.5 cm until seated. Close the latch and check that the pack is secure. Use controlled pressure only; stop if it jams or the terminals or latch are damaged. See the illustrated battery-mounting guide.
Charging: Use the original compatible Augment charger. Switch off, ensure the port is dry, connect the charger to the power socket and then the battery as directed, and disconnect when charging is complete. A red charger light normally means charging; green usually means completion or no charging load. A display warning, failed charge or power cut still needs assessment even if 100% is shown. Do not leave charging unattended or charge while asleep.
Battery safety: Do not use or charge a damaged, swollen, leaking, unusually hot or smelly battery. Do not touch leaked material, insert objects, modify the pack or attempt to revive a deeply discharged battery yourself. Keep it away from children and pets. Follow the permitted charging temperature; after cold storage let it warm naturally and become dry before charging, without a heater or other direct heat. Ask support for approved transport arrangements for a damaged battery.
Cleaning and storage: Switch off and unplug before cleaning with a soft cloth. Never hose, pressure-wash or immerse the scooter. Store it dry. Check the battery at least monthly and recharge according to the model guidance before deep discharge; three months is not the recommended interval. Keep charging ports protected and inspect for moisture before use.
Range and parts: Range changes with rider load, temperature, hills, wind, tyre pressure and speed. Historic range examples are not a guaranteed range for every battery or variant. Match voltage, connector, model and fitted components before buying parts; a shared wheel diameter or similar-looking charger is insufficient.
Faults and service: Tell support the full model and serial number, clear symptoms, onset and checks already tried. Punctures, error codes, electrical faults and wear need the correct assessment. Do not open the controller or promise yourself a free replacement based on the old PDF. Warranty, active maintenance, replacement, freight and paid-repair options depend on the actual agreement and fault. DIY repair is optional when an approved matching guide is available; an owned scooter may still have active service.
Theft and insurance: Use a suitable physical lock when parked. Maintenance is separate from theft protection, accident cover and legally required third-party liability insurance. Verify any household or other policy with its insurer; it is not automatically valid for the vehicle.
