Once you receive your Augment Cable Lock, you will need to install it to the e-scooter. Augment Cable Lock will comes with a bracket that will hold the Cable Lock with the scooter where ever you go!
To install the Cable Lock bracket:
Remove the two screws from the bracket
Slide the bracket around the upper pole
Re-install the 2 screws and tighten them
How to setup the wanted combination?
The factory code will be "00000" and this will open the lock.
Once you have opened the lock, you will find an arrow pointing clockwise and text "SET" from the end of the lock assembly. ( See the picture below )
Rotate the set screw at the end of the lock assembly clockwise 90 degrees
Set your own combination by turning the dials.
Rotate the same set screw counterclockwise 90 degrees.
Now you have installed the wanted combination to your lock. To lock the Cable Lock insert the other end of the lock inside the lock assembly and rotate the dials. To open lock, rotate the dials to enter your combination.
Choose a 5-number code that you will remember!
