At Augmentive, we offer two types of professionals to support your mental health journey: Clinicians and Independent Specialists. Here’s what you need to know about the difference between them.

Augmentive 'Clinicians'

  • Clinicians are marked with a ‘Clinicians’ badge on their profiles.

  • These professionals are part of Augmentive’s regulated service, operating under the direct oversight of our clinical team.

  • They follow strict guidelines and protocols to ensure the highest safety and quality standards.

  • Services provided include:

    • Assessments

    • Diagnosis

    • Ongoing treatment and support

  • Clinicians work closely with you and, where appropriate, with your GP to ensure seamless and coordinated care.

Independent Specialists

  • Independent specialists on Augmentive are self-employed professionals who run their own practices.

  • They offer a wide range of mental health services, including therapy and personalised treatment options.

  • They work independently but align with Augmentive’s high standards of care.

  • Independent specialists do not have the ‘Clinician’ badge on their profiles.
