A PRN Care Routine is an unscheduled routine that may need to be completed for a resident when you give extra care that was not listed in their scheduled routines.
Note: Care Track must be live for your community and subcategories will need to be added by an August Health implementation manager.
Step 1:
If PRN care is needed during a Care Pass, click on the resident then click "I Gave Extra Care" on the far right.
Step 2:
Select the activity you would like to document, then click "Submit."
Step 3:
Confirm the charted extra care. When complete, the PRN for the extra care will be displayed at the top of the resident’s Care Pass time, at which it was completed.
The documented PRN care will appear in the Care Log. It can be downloaded from the Care tab of the resident’s chart and the extra care will be displayed at the bottom of the Care Log.
