Follow the guides below to understand each status for the controlled count
Draft:
When you see the "Draft" state on your controlled count, it means you started or opened the "Receive Inventory," "Disposal," or "End of Shift Count" and did not complete the process. When these three are in the draft state, you can click on the row to finish or click on the three dots to delete the draft.
Pending Signatures:
When you see "Pending Signatures" on your End of Shift Count, this means that the count has been completed, but the End of Shift Count is in progress, awaiting the signature of the witness. To continue this process, either the witness selected needs to sign, or you need to "Continue to Witness Selection."
Reconciled:
When you see "Reconciled" on your End of Shift Count, this means that the count has been completed, signed off, and any exceptions have been reviewed and resolved by your manager.
Received:
When you see "Received," it means the process of receiving inventory has been completed, and the medications received have been logged.
Disposed:
When you see the "Disposed" tag, it means that the Record Disposal process has been completed and the disposal of medications has been logged.
Complete:
When you see the "Complete" tag, it means that you have completed the End of Shift Count.
Pending Reconciliation:
When you see the "Pending Reconciliation" tag, it means that you and your witness have signed the End of Shift Count, but there are some discrepancies in the count. To complete this count, you will have to click on the End of Shift Count that is Pending Reconciliation and then click on each medication that has a count that does not match. After clicking on "Reconcile Count", you will be brought to a screen to adjust the count accordingly.
Click "Save" and then continue with any other medications to reconcile. Once all medications have been reconciled, the count will be complete and show the "Reconciled" tag.
