Recording 1/2 Tabs as Full Doses in Controlled Drug Count

If your community counts scored medications as one dose, you will need to change the quantity in the order to one dose.

Step 1:

Navigate to the resident's chart and click on the medications tab.

Step 2:

Click on the medication from the medication list that you are counting as a full dose.

Step 3:

Edit the medication to show 1 tab instead of 0.5 for controlled count accuracy. Click Save.

Now, when you complete your count for controlled medications, you can record full doses.
