Before you can begin tracking bowel movements in Care Track, the bowel movement tracking option must be turned on for the resident.
Please note that bowel movement tracking is only accessible for communities using Care Track.
Step 1:
Navigate to the "Care" tab in the resident's chart.
Step 2:
Click "Tracking" in the upper right of the "Care" tab.
Step 3:
Click on the drop-down, then select the tracking options: "Size," "Consistency," or both, and click "save."
You'll be prompted to enter this information into Care Track. If a resident has tracking enabled for size and consistency, you'll first document size.
Once you click "Save", a flag will briefly appear at the bottom of your screen. If you click "Tracking" again, it will say "On".
