Step 1:

Confirm whether staff documented while the system was offline
(If you need verification, please reach out to August Health support.)

Step 2:

Identify which device and browser were used at the time of documentation

Step 3:

Confirm whether a different browser, browser profile, or computer login was used afterward

Step 4:
Once determined, ensure that the same computer, browser, and browser profile, using the same local computer login, is reconnected to the internet so any pending offline documentation can sync.

Recommended Practices for Offline eMAR Documentation

Communities should be trained to:

  • Use one consistent browser (recommended default browser)

  • Avoid switching between browsers on eMAR devices

  • Avoid browser resets, cleanups, or automated "cleanup" tools on eMAR computers

  • Ensure devices fully reconnect to the internet before switching users

  • Use a shared device, shared local computer login, and shared browser setup whenever possible

    • If users have individual local computer logins or individual browser profiles, ensure that the same user account or browser profile used during offline documentation is logged in when reconnecting, so any unsynced records can successfully sync.
