How to upload documents to a resident's chart

This article explains how to upload pictures or scanned copies of documents to August Health.

Step 1:
Select the "Documents" tab in the resident's chart.

Step 2:
On the right side of the tab, there is a "New Document" list. At the bottom of the list, click the "Upload a Document" option.

Step 3:
Select the document type from the dropdown list. If the document type is not listed, select "Other." For document types that require additional information, such as dates, you will be prompted to enter the necessary details (for example, the signature date on a Physician's Report).

Note: Selecting the correct document type is critical for compliance purposes, as incorrect categorization can result in the document being marked as missing in the system. For example, if you upload a paper-signed service plan as "Other", the system will not register that the service plan was completed for a resident. It would need to be uploaded as a Service Plan instead of "Other".

Step 4:

Click "Save" to add your uploads.
