  1. Navigate to the 'Inbox' tab:

Note: The number next to 'Inbox' indicates how many residents currently have orders awaiting to be reviewed in by the community.

  2. When navigating to the 'Inbox' one may find medication orders for review:

Within the 'Inbox' one will find the number of pending orders, resident's photo if uploaded into the resident's chart, resident's name, room if indicated in the resident's chart, and how long it has been since August received the medication orders from pharmacy.

  3. Select a Resident to review medication orders:

Note: If 'UNASSIGNED' is notated this indicates there was not an exact match to an existing resident's chart. Therefore, we must assign these medication orders to the correct resident chart.

  4. When selecting a resident with an 'UNASSIGNED' tag one will see the following:

After reviewing the information one can 'REJECT ALL ORDERS' or 'ASSIGN TO AN EXISTING RESIDENT'.

Note: Please proceed with caution when selecting 'REJECT ALL ORDERS'.

  5. When selecting 'ASSIGN TO AN EXISTING RESIDENT':

A drop-down list will appear for one to select the appropriate chart to assign the medication orders to.

  6. Once selected, press 'Continue'.

Note: A resident chart must exist for the resident's name to be found in the drop-down list. If the resident chart does not exist, please proceed to the 'Move-ins' tab to create the applicable resident's chart.

  7. A verification screen will appear. Please verify before you press 'Yes, Assign'.

  8. Medication orders will then be assigned to the resident's chart and found in the 'Medications' tab. One can then complete the pending review process.

Note: If one accidentally assigns orders to the wrong resident's chart, please reach out to August Health support for additional assistance.
