Learn how to set up an Aurelius + Zapier Integration

Connect Aurelius to Zapier to automate data with over 1500 apps you already use.

Zapier lets you connect Aurelius to 1,500+ other web services. Automated connections called Zaps, set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

Each Zap has one app as the **Trigger**, where your information comes from and which causes one or more **Actions** in other apps, where your data gets sent automatically. 

Our Zapier integration is available to everyone in Pro and Premium plans.

TL;DR

How do I connect Aurelius to Zapier?

  1. Log in to your Zapier account or create a new account.

  2. Navigate to "Connected Accounts" from the top menu bar.

  3. Now click on "Connect new account" and search for "Aurelius"

  4. Use your credentials to connect your Aurelius account to Zapier.

  5. Once that's done you can start creating an automation! Use a pre-made Zap or create your own with the Zap Editor. Creating a Zap requires no coding knowledge and you'll be walked step-by-step through the setup.

Our Zapier integration currently allows you to do two things:

  1. Send every new Key Insight in Aurelius to another app

  2. Create new notes in an Aurelius project from actions in another app

The possibilities are nearly endless!

...the longer version

Here’s how to get started with Zapier in Aurelius:

1. Sign into Zapier (if you don’t already have an account, sign up for a free Zapier account here)

2. Click “Make a Zap”

3. Choose the apps you want to connect

  • If you want to send key insights from Aurelius to another app, choose Aurelius first 

  • If you want actions in another app to create notes in an Aurelius project, choose the other app first

4. Connect Zapier with your other app

  • Sign in with your username and password for that app

  • Choose the action/trigger

5. Connect Zapier to Aurelius

  • Sign into Aurelius

  • Click on your company name and scroll down to “Manage Zapier”

  • Click “Generate an API Key” (you must be an Admin in Aurelius to do this)

  • Paste that API key into Zapier

  • Choose which actions you want to take

(If you’re sending key insights from Aurelius to another app, choose where and how to create those key insights in the other app you chose)

​(If you’re creating new notes in Aurelius from another app, choose the Aurelius project, note category and content for the note)

6. Once everything is set up, click “Turn Zap On”
