With our Universal Search, you can find all your notes, documents, key insights, recommendations and Collections in Aurelius by searching keywords, tags or both.

What is Universal Search

Universal Search is the "global search" where you can find your data from across all projects and sources in Aurelius.

How to use Universal Search

First, go to the "Search" main navigation item

From here you'll see the ability to type keywords to search, add tags or use both

When you search, you will find results that match from Notes & Documents, Key Insights, Recommendations and Collections.

Simply toggle open which section you want to view

Adding a tag to our example search here narrows the results to show data that has both that keyword and the tag we chose

Using filters with Universal Search

You can filter your search results with several filters available depending on what you're looking for.

Here's a quick list of the filters available:

  • Sentiment (positive/negative) - filters notes with that selected sentiment

  • Project - will filter all results by only selected project

  • Any/All tags - when searching by more than one tag, toggle to view results that include data with ANY selected tags or ALL selected tags (think of this as an "and/or" selector for results with your chosen tags)

Actions you can take from the Universal Search

Once you've found what you're looking for, you can work with your search results right from the Universal Search page.

Here are some examples of what you can do from the Universal Search page:

  • select notes and add new tags

  • select notes from multiple projects and create a cross project insight

  • select multiple key insights and create a cross project recommendation

  • send key insights and recommendations to a collection
