Can I hedge between multiple Aurex accounts?

Policy on hedging across Aurex accounts.

No. Hedging is not permitted at Aurex, whether it is performed within the same account or across two or more Aurex accounts.

What is hedging?

Hedging occurs when a trader holds opposing positions on the same or highly correlated instrument in an attempt to offset risk. For example, opening a BUY position on XAUUSD in one Aurex account and a SELL position on XAUUSD in another account would be considered hedging.

This rule also applies within a single Aurex account. Opening simultaneous or intentionally coordinated BUY and SELL positions on the same instrument to protect one side of the trade or attempt to benefit regardless of market direction is prohibited.

Hedging is considered a prohibited trading strategy because Aurex accounts are designed to evaluate genuine trading skill, risk management, and consistent decision-making. Using opposing accounts or positions to intentionally create a scenario where one side is expected to win while the other loses is treated as casino-style or chance-based trading behavior, rather than legitimate risk-managed trading.

For example, you may not:

  • BUY XAUUSD on Account A while SELLING XAUUSD on Account B.

  • Open opposing positions within the same account as a deliberate hedge.

  • Use multiple Aurex accounts to place opposite trades around news, volatility, or other market events.

  • Intentionally sacrifice or breach one account in an attempt to generate profits or a reward on another account.

Normal trading decisions are different from hedging. Closing a BUY trade and later deciding to open a SELL trade because your market analysis has changed is permitted. The violation occurs when opposing positions are intentionally held or coordinated as a hedging strategy.

In simple terms: Aurex accounts should be traded independently based on your trading strategy—not used against each other to create a “one account wins, one account loses” scenario.
