Signals Overview

Learn about Signals and how to interact with Signals reports.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Meet Signals

When you log into Authenticx, you’ll enter through Signals — your hub for exploring and acting on conversational insights.

Signals consolidates various reports and views of your data into one place and, ultimately provides insight into where your customers are experiencing friction.

Unlike reports in your Dashboard (which only report on interactions with completed evaluations), Signals reports reflect data from ALL conversations that have been uploaded into the platform, offering real-time insights.

You also have the ability to build custom Signals Dashboards to focus in on specific data or to dive deep into answering key business questions. Signals is available for all designated users with reporting access and permissions.

Report Structure

You can expect reports in Signals to include the following elements:

Graph

This is the heart of Signals reports: the data visualization. Available visualizations include line graphs, bar charts, and stacked bar charts. Above the data visualization, you’ll see the report title and description.

Chart-Specific Selections

Graphs within Signals automatically update based on the selections you make within that report, either in report-specific dropdown menus (e.g., to select classifiers or topics shown on that report), or in the data grid beneath certain reports.

All Signals graphs will default to showing the 5 highest volume items first. Even if you update your filters, the graphs will auto-update to sort from most to least.

  • You can easily view the next 5 highest volume items, then the next 5, and so on, in order from most to least, by using the arrows at the bottom right of these graphs.

  • You can lock selections in these graphs, via the dropdown, to keep specific items in view, even when you adjust filters.

  • You can lock selections on a shared Custom Dashboard to keep them in view for anyone accessing that dashboard.

Menu on Individual Reports

If you click the three dots in the upper corner, you’ll have options to export the report as PNG, refresh the data in the report, or pin the report to a custom Signals Dashboard.

% / # Toggle

On certain reports, you have the option to view the data by percent, or by count. For example, viewing by count can be useful for understanding true prevalence, whereas viewing by percent can be useful in understand ratios, perhaps in comparison to other key topics or areas of interest.

Compare to previous period checkbox

On certain reports, you have the option to check/uncheck a box to compare the data to the previous time period.

Spotlights

Spotlights are auto-generated insights produced when the AI reacts to your reports. Powered by GenAI, Spotlights help you quickly uncover the key insights, implications, and areas that need your attention within your data.

Spotlights will only reflect information currently visible on the report. When you scroll through graphs, you can refresh the Spotlight for fresh insights. Locking new Themes or Classifiers will also let you refresh Spotlight for insights on your current data view

Data Grid

Certain Over Time reports have a detailed data grid beneath them where you can get more information about trending data. You can also select/deselect within the data grid to change what you see in the graph on that specific report.
