The AutoDS Help Center has been completely redesigned to provide a better experience when searching for information about the platform. This restructure was also designed to work seamlessly with Orin, our AI-powered chatbot, ensuring you get faster and more accurate answers.

Key improvements:

  • Organized categories: All content is grouped into eight main categories for easier navigation.

  • Consolidated articles: Related information is now grouped under comprehensive parent topic articles instead of being spread across multiple separate pages.

  • Optimized for Orin: The new structure helps Orin provide more accurate and instant answers to your questions.

  • Updated content: Articles have been improved with more detailed information, better examples, and clearer explanations.

Best practices for navigating the Help Center

To get the most out of the new AutoDS Help Center structure:

Step 1: Start with Orin (recommended)

Orin is the AutoDS support assistant, available 24/7 at the bottom-right corner of every Help Center page.

Orin was designed to provide instant help across multiple topics by accessing AutoDS's complete knowledge base, so you don't need to search through articles.

For the fastest support experience, begin by describing your specific topic or question to Orin. Tell Orin what you need, and you'll get immediate answers.

How to use Orin effectively:

Simply click the Orin icon at the bottom-right corner, describe your question or issue clearly, and receive immediate assistance. You don't need to know which article to search for or which category to browse. Just ask Orin directly.

Step 2: Navigate by category when exploring

If you prefer to explore AutoDS Help Center and browse its available features or topics without asking specific questions, use the content category buttons on the homepage. Each category groups related articles together, making it easy to discover features and learn about different areas of the platform.

This approach works well when you want to understand a general area of the platform or discover features you might not know about, rather than finding answers to specific questions.

Step 3: Look for consolidated articles

Remember that related content is now grouped under the main parent topic articles. If you're looking for information about a specific feature, you'll likely find everything you need in one comprehensive article instead of multiple separate ones.

Instead of searching for separate articles about specific aspects of a feature, search for the main feature name to find the complete article that includes all related topics.


Homepage sections

The AutoDS Help Center homepage is designed to provide quick access to the most important resources, helping you start your search efficiently. Understanding the homepage layout will help you navigate more effectively.

At the top of the Help Center page, you'll find quick access links to essential AutoDS resources:

  • AutoDS platform: Direct link to access your AutoDS dashboard.

  • Mentorship program login: Access the mentorship program area.

  • Status page: Check the real-time operational status of all AutoDS components and view uptime history.

  • Language selector: Change the Help Center language to your preference.

Search bar

The search bar is prominently displayed at the top of the homepage, directly below the header section. This enables you to immediately start searching for topics without having to navigate through categories first.

Below the search bar, you'll find a featured box displaying the most popular articles in AutoDS' Help Center, providing quick access to ensure you always see the most relevant content.

The homepage also displays buttons for all eight categories, providing visual navigation to different sections of the Help Center. Each button includes the category name and a brief description of what you'll find inside, making it easy to identify where to start your search.


How to use the search bar effectively

The search bar at the top of the Help Center page is one of the most powerful tools for quickly finding relevant information.

How the search works

The AutoDS Help Center search function reads keywords throughout entire articles, not just article titles, which means you can find relevant information even when the exact words you're searching for don't appear in an article's title. You just need to use keywords related to the information you need guidance on.

Search example:

When searching for "supported suppliers", the search will display results from multiple articles that mention supported suppliers anywhere in their content. This includes the following articles: Product Upload, AutoDS Sourcing Service, Fulfilled by AutoDS, and others, even if "supported suppliers" isn't part of the article title.

Search tips

To find the right articles faster:

  1. Use specific keywords:

    Use specific feature names, technical terms, or exact phrases related to your question. The more specific your keywords, the more assertive your results will be.

    • Feature names: "Fulfilled by AutoDS" [LINK: FBA article], "Product Finding Hub" [LINK: Product Finding Hub article], "AutoDS Marketplace" [LINK: AutoDS Marketplace article].

    • Technical terms: "API", "tracking number", "order status", "price monitoring".

    • Process terms: "upload products", "connect store", "process orders".

  2. Try different keyword variations: If your first search doesn't show the expected results, try using other words or phrases that mean the same thing. For example, if searching "add products" doesn't show what you need, try "upload products" or "import products".

  3. Search by topic, not questions: Instead of typing full questions like "How do I upload products?", use keywords like "upload products" or "product upload" for better results.


Articles categories and content organization

The new AutoDS Help Center organizes all articles into eight main categories, each designed to cover specific aspects of the platform and dropshipping process. Related content is now grouped under comprehensive parent topic articles, making it easier to find complete information in one place.

Example of consolidated content:

Previously, Fulfilled by AutoDS (FBA) information was spread across 5+ separate articles covering different aspects of the service. Now, all FBA content is consolidated into one comprehensive article: "Automate your orders with Fulfilled by AutoDS (FBA)", which includes supported suppliers, requirements, step-by-step instructions, order processing, managed balance, and more.
