How to clear the error message 'Error: 'Authorisation issue detected - please reconnect' in AutoEntry (Xero Integration)

You are seeing the following error message on your company's integration status or Integrate page.

Authorisation issue detected - please reconnect

This is caused by an expired token within the integration with Xero, meaning that it needs to be re-authorised.


Resolution

To resolve this error, disconnect the integration on both sides and reconnect from AutoEntry:

  1. Disconnect your integration from AutoEntry.

  2. Disconnect the integration from Xero:

    1. Click the organisation name, then select Settings.

    2. Click Connected Apps.

    3. Under the connected apps, click Disconnect beside the AutoEntry app.

  3. Reconnect the company to your Xero account.
