How to restart a paused/finished campaign?

How to restart a campaign that has been paused or completed.

To set your finished campaign in motion again, add a new contact(s) and/ or follow-up(s). 


If you want to add recipient(s): 

  1. Click on the Campaigns tab.

  2. Choose the campaign you want to restart from the list.

  3. On the Campaign Details page click the "Add Recipients" button (or the "Edit" button, and again "Edit" in the Recipients section).

  4. Choose the import source from which you want to add contacts.

  5. Filter, select, and import contacts.

  6. Click on the Update button at the top right of the "Choose Recipients" screen.

OR

  1. Go to the Contacts section

  2. Select the contacts you want to add to your campaign using filters

  3. Click on the Add to Campaign button and choose one from the drop-down menu. If necessary use the option to exclude contacts from any active team campaign. Confirm the import and wait for the confirmation popup. In case there are more than 10,000 contacts, the system will need a bit more time to finish up the request.

Finished campaigns immediately switch to In Progress, while Paused needs to be Resumed manually. 

The initial mail and follow-ups will be sent only to the new contact(s) in this campaign, as Autoklose prevents duplication. 


If you want to add follow-up(s): 

  1. Click on the Campaigns tab.

  2. Choose the campaign you want to restart from the list.

  3. On the Details page click the "Edit Campaign" button

  4. Scroll down and reach Email Sequence section. Click Edit on any email.

  5. Click on the Add Follow-up button on the left.

  6. Fill all the necessary fields and schedule when you want the new follow-up(s) to be sent.

  7. Click on the Update button.

  8. Click the "Resume" button on the "Campaign Review" (step 5)

Follow-ups will be sent to all recipients on the list, except for individuals who have been excluded due to automated processes, manual removal, or unsubscribed, as well as those whose emails have bounced.
