How to delete contacts? How to remove a recipient from a campaign?

How to remove prospects from a single campaign?

  1. Go to the Campaigns page on the left-hand side, select the campaign you want to remove recipients from and click the Edit Campaign button at the top.

2. Edit the second, Choose Recipients step of the campaign.

3. Find the recipient(s) you want to remove, you can search by recipients’ data, or you can use filters on the right-hand side. After that select all contacts and click on the remove button.


Please note:

  • By default, only the 25 recipients on the page will be selected. If you have more than that, make sure to select them all first before you proceed with the removal process.

  • Recipients will be completely removed from the campaign if they haven’t received any emails from it.

  • You can still remove recipients if they received at least one email before removal, but they will remain visible in a campaign including their conversation, and they will be included in the statistics.

  • If a prospect received at least one email the recipient’s status will change to REMOVED.

  • Deleting recipients from the campaign will not affect their presence in the main Contacts database.

Another way to remove contacts from campaign is from the Recipients tab.

On the main Campaigns page, click on the campaign name.

Navigate to the Recipients tab. Find or filter contacts that you wish to remove from the campaign and select them.

Once ready simply click the Remove from Campaign button.


How to delete contacts from the main Contacts section?

The process is fairly the same:

  1. Go to the Contacts section on the left-hand side.

  2. Find the recipient(s) you want to remove, you can search by recipients’ data, or you can use filters on the right-hand side.

  3. Select all contacts, click on the More button, and then Delete Contact.

Please note:

  • This feature is available only to the team managers.

  • By default, only the 25 recipients on the page will be selected. If you have more than that, make sure to select them all first before you proceed with the removal process.

  • Deleting contacts from the main Contacts page will completely remove their records from the list.

  • Deleting contacts from the main Contacts page will not affect their presence in a campaign. If they are added to the recipient’s list they will remain in a campaign, continue receiving emails from a campaign, and will be included in campaign statistics.
