Autoklose can connect and send emails from your Microsoft 365 email account. In order to allow Autoklose to connect to your account:
Log into Autoklose with your account
Click on Your Name at the top right and click on Settings
Click on the Email tab
Click on the Connect email account button
Click on Connect Microsoft
Choose the account you want to connect and give Autoklose system permission to send on your behalf.
If you're a Microsoft 365 user and want to send attachments in your emails, please note that Microsoft 365 has limitations on that end. There's a limit set to 3MB for the file size for OAuth connections.
If you want to avoid this limitation you can connect to your account using IMAP and SMTP.
As of January 2023. Microsoft turned off basic authentication for IMAP and SMTP protocols, so this connection type might not work for your email account (even with App Password and multi-step verification enabled).
Here is how to connect your Microsoft 365 email account using IMAP and SMTP:
Choose the Connect Another Provider connection option.
Fill out your E-mail address and your password for your Office365 account. It is possible that an APP password is required. This article covers the process of enabling 2-step verification and the creation of app-specific passwords. Leave the rest of the settings default unless Microsoft support has specifically asked you to change them.
