Step 1: To get started, log in to your Shopify admin panel and navigate to the ADG app. Once inside, locate the "Settings" tab on the app's dashboard. Click on it to proceed to the configuration options.

Step 2: Choose "Automatic" on the left side of the page then click on the "New Promotion" tab located on the upper right side of the screen.

Step 3: Once inside the "New Promotion" page, click on the "Gift or Upsell" box and choose the "100% discount (Free gift)."
​

Step 4. From the box "Select the products to gift or upsell" click on it and you will see the list of the items/product variants, just choose the item that you want to set as a gift. Once done tick the box beside the item and don't forget to hit on the "Add" button below.

Step 5. Scroll down to the "Promotion name". You can create the name of your promotion to distinguish it from the other promotions, this is for internal use, and your customers won't see it in your storefront. Click on the "Rename" button.

You can also choose a group for your promotion, by clicking on the "Promotion group." A pop-up box will open "Create a family of promotions," you can create a new group or choose an existing group of promotions and hit on "Save."

Step 6. You have to make sure you have the right Promotion Name and Group, then click on the "Links" located on the left pane of the screen. And it will bring you to another page.

Step 7. Click on the "New link."

And it will show you the "Campaign name" page. From this page click on the "Attach a promotion group" link and type in the promotion name on the search bar, it will show, and tick the circle beside it.

Click on the "Create Link" button at the bottom.

Step 8. Click on the "Choose a name" link and put in a unique name identifier for your promotion. Scroll down and you will see a "Using a "coupon code" inside our display savings integration" with the uneditable code.

From here you can use the predetermined code and share it with your customers.
