You may face the error Avaza invoices failed to copy over to Xero where the error message would describe that the Allocation amount is more than the remaining invoice balance. Invoice with TransactionID 1234 would be over-allocated.

Now, what does this mean? It means that the Xero payment amount received by the integration is greater than the Avaza invoice balance.

Why could this be happening? This could happen if the invoice amount is being changed in Xero, (i.e. payments that are directly applied in Xero). As a result, when the payment is being applied in Xero, the amount exceeds the invoice amount in Avaza.

Here's what we would suggest:

1. Do not change the invoice amount in Xero. If any changes need to be made to the invoice please make those in Avaza and they will be copied over to Xero automatically.

2. Ignore the errors received on the Xero integration page so that you won't receive any additional error emails for that particular invoice.

You can do so by going to Settings > App Marketplace > Xero > Settings > Activity Logs
