You are probably here because you have received an Aviva employee donation. Congratulations! You will now see a banner asking you to set up your wallet.

This is so that Aviva Community Fund donations can be released to your bank account once your project closes successfully. It's extra due diligence that checks your organisation and bank details as your Aviva funds are held in a virtual wallet by another payment provider. This is different from the banking set up you did on your project page, as that was to receive funds from normal crowd pledges. Don't worry, we'll guide you every step of the way and if you are having issues you can send the documents to us to check for you.

HOW DO YOU SET UP AN EXTRA FUNDING WALLET?

We've created the following guides to help you set up your wallet.

Choose the correct entity type: You must set up as either a Business or an Organisation. Please do not set up and a sole trader or individual, if you do this we will need to reset your wallet.

If your charity is registered as BOTH a charity and a company and have a Companies House number, you must select the BUSINESS option in your Extra funding wallet

WHAT SHOULD I KNOW BEFORE I SET UP MY WALLET?

Please make sure that you have selected the correct entity type and have all the relevant documents necessary to complete your wallet setup. We recommend reading the relevant guide (as listed above) before you start.

Please also make sure that all documents you intend to upload are good quality and legible. When uploading ID, double check that all the corners and edges of the document are visible. If not, it will be rejected. The details on this ID must exactly match the details you've entered in your wallet. Do not abbreviate names.

When it comes to your legal representative (whose ID you'll need to upload), we'll need proof that they are who you say they are! You'll therefore need to add a document that names them, such as a list of members or minutes from an AGM.

If you are setting up your wallet as a business, you can search for and download the necessary documents from Companies House.

If you are setting up your wallet as a charity, you can search for and download the necessary information from the Charity Commission.

Ensure that each document you upload is a PDF under 7mb in size. If your document is too large you can try a free compression tool such as this one or google search how to: Compress a file.

Please note: We cannot see the uploaded documents as these are sent directly to our payment provider so if you are still having issues please email us your signed and dated documents and we can advise you.

HAVE YOU RECEIVED EXTRA FUNDS FROM ANOTHER FUNDING PARTNER?

Congratulations if you applied and have been approved for funding from one of Crowdfunder's Extra Funding Partners, You will only need to complete one wallet on your project.

Please read the partner's specific criteria carefully to make sure you're on track to secure the partner pledge. Unless you have been told otherwise, you will need to hit your overall funding target with a minimum number of unique supporters before the pledge will show on your page. A unique supporter is a single pledge made using a name, email address and payment card. Pledges that share the same card will only be counted once. For example, if both a primary and additional cardholder make a pledge, they will be counted as a unique supporter.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR YOUR DOCUMENTS TO BE VERIFIED?

It can take up to 3 working days for your documents to be verified by our third party payment provider.

Please note: We cannot see the uploaded documents as these are sent directly to our payment provider. If your documents are failing please email your signed and dated documents to support@communityfund.aviva.com and we can advise you

WHEN WILL THE EXTRA FUNDS BE TRANSFERRED TO YOUR ACCOUNT?

After your project has successfully closed and your extra funding wallet has been verified, it can take between 5 to 20 working days for the money to be transferred.
