Note: you may not be able to format your CSV with this. We’ve found ~70% of the time customers are able to successfully format their CSV (regardless of the format) into our format using the AI tool. If it doesn’t work, you will need to follow the below guide to learn how to format it manually.
Download the Example CSV
To streamline the process, download one of the example CSVs below. We have a simple CSV ”awaken_csv_format” which supports one sent and one received asset per transaction. If you have more complicated transactions (ex. you added liquidity) you can use the “awaken_multi_asset_template”. We recommend watching our video tutorial above on how to use either of these templates. It will walk you through it step-by-step!
CSV Requirements:
Ensure a smooth upload by adhering to these guidelines. You may want to watch our video tutorial for a general overview.
Header Row: Match it precisely with the example provided
Date Format: Use MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS in UTC time. for example: 09/30/2019 07:19:01
Negatives: Exclude negative numbers.
Decimal Precision: Up to eight decimal places for numbers.
Send/Withdrawal Transactions:
Leave “Received Quantity” and currency empty.
Sent quantity excludes transfer fees. (Example: if you transferred 1 ETH but paid 0.1 ETH fee, you should have a sent quantity of 0.9 ETH and a fee of 0.1 ETH.
Receive/Deposit Transactions:
Keep sent quantity and currency empty.
Received quantity excludes fees.
Trade Transactions:
Include values for received/sent quantity and currency.
Columns
For explanation on the [number] below, we’d recommend watching our video tutorial. This allows you to add multiple received or sent assets to a transaction if you need to.
Date
Use the format MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS in UTC time. for example: 09/30/2019 07:19:01
Received Quantity [number]
The amount of token received, ex. if you received 10 SOL in the transaction this would be 10
Received Currency [number]
The cryptocurrency received, ex. SOL
Received Fiat Amount [number] (Optional)
The value of the cryptocurrency at the time you received it. Ex. if you receive 10 SOL and SOL was $100 each, this would be $1,000.
Sent Quantity [number]
The amount of token sent, ex. if you sent 10 SOL in the transaction this would be 10
Sent Currency [number]
The cryptocurrency sent, ex. SOL
Sent Fiat Amount [number] (Optional)
The value of the cryptocurrency at the time you sent it. Ex. if you sent 10 SOL and SOL was $100 each, this would be $1,000.
Fee Amount
The amount of fee paid, ex. if you paid a $10 fee, this would be 10.
Fee Currency
The cryptocurrency or fiat currency used to pay a fee. Ex. this could be “USD” or “BTC” depending on the currency you used to pay the fee.
Transaction Hash (Optional)
Add a column named "Transaction Hash."
This will add block explorer URLs for chains we support (ex. Solscan, Basescan, Hypurrscan, etc…)
Notes (Optional)
We recommend adding transaction hashes or notes for your own convenience, so it’s easier to identify things. They will show up in Awaken like this:
Tag (Optional)
You can optionally add a label for the transaction under the “Tag” column.

IMPORTANT:
Avoid Duplicates: Importing existing transactions may lead to duplicates.
