This release is the one where Donor Experience becomes something your donors actually open. Every donor now gets a living, school-branded impact page — what their giving achieved, the scholars they supported, their impact reports and student thank-you letters, and their tax receipts.

Alongside it, the donor record has been rebuilt from the ground up, Scholarship Collections is available for the first time, and Lists & Segments gained the filters you have been asking for.

New in this release

“Your Impact” donor portal

Your donors now have a page of their own, carrying your school’s branding. What each donor sees scales with their relationship to your school, and there is a guaranteed floor of content so the page is never empty — even for a brand-new donor.

  • An impact hero and fund financials showing what their giving achieved

  • The scholars they supported, with student stories shown only where the student has granted a release

  • Their gift officer’s card, so they know who to talk to

  • Their impact reports and student thank-you letters, read right on the portal

  • Tax receipts for online gifts, downloadable from their giving history

  • A warm pre-gift welcome page for prospective donors who arrive before they have given

Impact reports, start to finish

A reporting run is now a queue your team works, not a batch job you hope succeeded. Staff open a run and work the donor queue; gift officers review and approve from their to-do list before anything reaches a donor.

  • Set your reporting period from your academic or fiscal year start

  • Nothing sends until an officer has approved it

  • A report that fails is shown to you with a retry, rather than disappearing into a background sweep

  • One agreed set of impact numbers per fund, shared by the donor view and your staff Impact tab

Student thank-you letters

Every gift can now carry a quality-checked student thank-you through to the donor who funded it. Mark any scholarship question as the thank-you letter, and the letter loop takes it from there.

  • Staff approve or send back a letter before the donor sees it

  • Approved letters appear on the donor’s portal and in their email

  • Students can opt into text reminders when they accept an award

Consent, on both sides

Students decide what is shared about them, and donors decide how visible they are. Nothing about a student reaches a donor without a release.

  • Students grant, decline or revoke their sharing release from their dashboard

  • Staff see release status per student and per award, and can record a release signed on paper — including the date it was actually signed

  • You can customise the wording of the sharing release for your school

  • Donors can hide their name from public displays and control engagement tracking

  • Portfolio owners are notified when a major or principal donor pulls back

The donor profile

The donor profile has been rebuilt end to end around how gift officers actually work — a summary rail you can read at a glance, and tabs that separate who someone is from what has happened with them.

  • A left summary rail carrying Prospect Attributes, Giving Summary and a Suggested Ask

  • A Profile tab with configurable About, Contact, Communication, Relationships, Notes and Funds cards

  • A new Public Profile tab, with a shareable address for donors who want one

  • Data Enrichment, showing which source each detail came from

  • An Activity tab with a full timeline, plus Tasks and Upcoming in one place

  • Gift receipts and acknowledgements tracked on the record

  • A Documents tab, and an Associated Scholarships tile

  • Pin the details you care about to the rail, and reassign an activity to a different donor

Scholarship Collections

Group related opportunities into a single collection that students apply to once. Collections are now a first-class thing in their own right, with their own create and edit flow modelled on Smart Reports.

  • Screen a roster of students against the collection’s eligibility criteria

  • Roll awarding up across the collection instead of scholarship by scholarship

  • Prerequisite scholarships unblock the next award as soon as the prerequisite is granted

The scholarship list, redesigned

Students browsing their scholarships, and anyone browsing your public list, get a modernised discovery experience. This is the same catalogue presented far better — matching, eligibility, statuses and sort all work exactly as they did before.

  • Two ways to look: a scannable card grid, which is now the default, and a restyled table, with a toggle between them

  • Cards carry the category, the scholarship name, a description preview, the amount and its note, and the deadline with days remaining — with closing soon emphasis inside the last 14 days

  • Search, plus a single Filters control covering deadline, amount and category. Active filters show as chips you can remove individually or clear all at once

  • The table shows Scholarship, Amount, Deadline, Category and Action — with Status for signed-in students, and awarded scholarships marked with a trophy

  • Signed-in students see their own status and only the actions that apply to them: Apply, complete a follow-up, or nothing. The public view shows no student status and simply offers Apply

  • Awarded scholarships always sort to the top, in both views, and there is a new Status filter

  • Non-monetary awards display in the same style as award amounts, and match filters properly

  • Pagination on both views, considered empty and loading states, and a tile-first layout on phones

  • Your school’s brand colour is used where you have configured one
