SSH Public Key Requirements

Format

Item	Requirement
Key format	An OpenSSH-format public key (your `.pub` file) as a single line, with no line breaks.
Line structure	`<key type> <key data>`
Which key to share	Share the public key only. Never share the private key.

Accepted key types

Key type	Requirement
`ssh-rsa`	Supported. 2048-bit minimum.
`ecdsa-sha2-nistp256`	Supported
`ecdsa-sha2-nistp384`	Supported
`ecdsa-sha2-nistp521`	Supported
`ssh-ed25519`	Not supported
