We offer our Front Hub motor kits in 3 sizes: 26", 27.5" & 29"
Every one of our Front Hub Motor kits includes a heavy-duty puncture-resistant hybrid Maxxis Pace Tire already installed!
That being said, we understand that these tires are not for everyone (even though we love them 😍), so the good news is that you can absolutely change the tire on our front hub motors! We are unable to confirm which specific tires will work with your bike and our rims, however we have provided some information below as a resource:
We have attached the dimensions for our Front Hub Motor rim for reference. The inner rim width, measured between the rim hooks is 18.8mm and the outer rim width is 24mm as outlined below.
Our Maxxis Pace hybrid tires stick out about 42mm beyond the outside edge of the rim.
We have found the 25mm is around the smallest size tire that will work with our rim size however we have included a super helpful tire sizing guide which was made by another company at this link here.
If you are planning on swapping out the tire we highly recommend going in and talking with your local bike shop as they should be able to help you get the right tire sized for your bike! 👍
