Why prompts matter

Think of your prompt as a brief you're giving to a designer—the more details you include, the closer the result will be to your vision. The more specific and clear your description, the better the design output.

General tips

  1. Be Specific: Include as much detail as possible about the design you want.

  2. Use Clear Language: Avoid vague terms like "nice" or "cool" Instead, describe elements like "modern, minimalist, with a blue and white color scheme".

  3. Focus on Key Features: Highlight the most important elements for your UI, such as navigation style, button placement, or image usage.

  4. Context is Key: Mention the app’s purpose or target audience to guide the design.

Examples

Here are some samples to get you started. But don't be afraid for your prompts to be bigger or different in structure.

Example 1: Simple app screen

Design a login screen for a fitness app. Use a modern, minimalist style with a blue and white color scheme. Include input fields for email and password, a login button, and a small logo at the top.

Example 2: E-commerce home screen

Create a home screen for a clothing e-commerce app. Highlight a search bar at the top, a featured product carousel, and a grid layout for product categories. Use a warm color palette like orange and beige.

Example 3: Social media profile page

Design a user profile page for a social media app. Include a circular profile picture, user bio, follower count, and a grid of recent posts. Use a vibrant and youthful style with purple and teal accents.
