How do I promote my events?
Updated over a week ago

There are many ways to promote your events, including customized emails that can target your audience by music preference and location to expand your reach!

First, ensure that your event is up-to-date! A Just Announced email, notification and RSVP reminder will be sent out to fans about the event.

Sync Events to your Website and Social Media

  • Events Widget - Promote your shows by embedding your tour dates & event listings on your website. You can get the widget code for your Bandsintown page here in just a few clicks!

  • Smart Link - All-in-one link to promote your shows & build your audience. You can share it on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, other social networks, or even on printed material, to make sure all your followers know your tour dates and can easily buy tickets. You can find more information here.

We’ve made it easy for you to use your Events Widget and Smart Link to collect valuable first-party data from fan interactions. With our new email Signup Form, fans can choose to share their information with you so that you can reach them in new and creative ways, creating an even stronger bond between you and your audience.

Event and Tour Announcements

  • Email Builder - Bandsintown's free drag-and-drop Email Builder lets artists create and send targeted emails to their fans. Start with a template, or craft a personalized email from scratch to make an announcement, send a newsletter, or promote music, merch, tours, events, and more. This beta feature is currently only available to those part of the Early Access Program. Apply to join the Bandsintown for Artists Early Access Program here!

  • Premium Campaigns - Reach out to other similar artists' fans and promote your tour, music, merch, festival, and more with our Premium Campaigns. You can schedule a campaign (or review your previous campaigns) without ever leaving Bandsintown: simply click on the Campaigns section and wait a few seconds for your data to load or go directly to Bandsintown Promoter. From there, you can choose fans of artists you want to reach, location, and more. Please note: This is a paid feature.
