The Bankroll U Leaderboard is designed to level the playing field by tracking performance based on unit growth, not just total dollar amounts. This allows all players—regardless of bankroll size—to compete fairly based on skill and consistency.

What Is a Unit?

A unit is a standardized measure of risk based on your starting bankroll. At Bankroll U, 1 unit = 10% of your initial bankroll.

This allows us to normalize performance across players with different bankroll sizes.

How We Calculate Unit Size

Here’s how unit size works based on your starting bankroll:

  • $10,000 Bankroll → 1 Unit = $1,000

  • $1,000 Bankroll → 1 Unit = $100

  • $500 Bankroll → 1 Unit = $50

  • $250 Bankroll → 1 Unit = $25

How We Rank Players

Once your unit size is determined, we calculate your total unit profit over a period of time (usually weekly or monthly). The more units you gain, the higher you’ll climb on the leaderboard.

For example:

  • A player with a $1,000 bankroll who earns $500 = +5 units

  • A player with a $10,000 bankroll who earns $2,000 = +2 units

In this case, the first player would rank higher on the leaderboard because their performance relative to their risk is stronger.

Why We Use Units

Using units helps ensure that the leaderboard is about skill, not just size. It rewards disciplined risk-taking and smart strategy, no matter the size of your bankroll.
