This article outlines the steps to effectively use Barti's Task Manager for managing personal tasks and team assignments.

Key Steps

1. Accessing Barti's Task Manager 0:00

  • The Task Manager can be found on the right side of the Homepage

  • Familiarize yourself with the three views:

    • My Task: Your personal tasks.

    • Assigned by Me: Tasks you have delegated to others.

    • All Tasks: A comprehensive view of all tasks in the practice.

  • You can filter by Open Tasks, Completed Tasks, or Both.

2. Creating a Task 0:48

  • You can create a new task from:

    • Task Manager

    • Right hand panel (relevant patient information will be autofilled)

  • Fill in the task description.

  • Reassign the task to a specific user if needed. By default the task is assigned to the current user.

  • Optional

    • Set a deadline for the task.

    • Link the task to a specific patient.

3. Viewing Task Details 1:59

  • Task details can be viewed in the Task Manager.

    • Hovering over user initials reveals the full name associated with the user who is assigned to and created each task.

    • To edit the task, click the 3 dots, then Edit Task

4. Marking a Task as Complete 1:46

  • Once a task is completed, check off the box next to it. The task will be hidden from the open status view.

5. Viewing Completed Tasks 1:56

  • Click on the Completed button to view all completed tasks.

  • Completed tasks will be sorted from most recent to oldest.

6. Handling Deactivated Team Members 2:15

  • If a team member is deactivated, their assigned tasks will automatically be reclassified as unassigned tasks.
