  • Do not connect your label printer to your computer until after the Dymo Connect software download is complete. This is a requirement from Dymo.

Step 1 - Download and Install Dymo Connect

  • Skip this step if you already have Dymo Connect installed on your computer

  • The latest Dymo Connect software can be downloaded from their website

    • Follow the Dymo software installation steps

Step 2 - Open Dymo Connect

  1. Open Dymo Connect

  2. Plug in your label printer and turn it on

    • Dymo LabelWriter 550 series: Dymo Connect will show that the device is connected and will autodetect the label type

    • Dymo LabelWriter 450 series: Dymo Connect will show that the device is connected

Step 3 - Queue labels in Barti

  1. In Barti, go to Billing > Inventory > Label Printing

    • Barti will show the connected label printer model and label type

    • For the Dymo LabelWriter 450 series, the label SKU and labels remaining will not be present

  2. Search for desired frames by name or UPC

    • To add frames to the print queue, click the “+” on the left side of the results table

    • To remove frames from the print queue, click the “-” on the left side of the selected table

    • To modify the number of labels to be printed, edit in the selected table

  3. To print, click “Send to Label Printer”

    • If you are using a Twin Turbo Labelwriter and do not want duplicate labels, ensure that labels are present only on one side of the device
