In this article, you will learn how to control whether a user appears in the scheduling dropdown and on the appointment calendar.
1. Navigate to the Setting
Click your profile in the top right corner.
Select Edit Profile.
Locate the Allow Internal Appointment Scheduling checkbox.
2. Enable or Disable the User
Check Allow Internal Appointment Scheduling to add the user to the schedule.
Uncheck Allow Internal Appointment Scheduling to remove the user from the schedule.
Click Save Changes.
What this controls:
Active on schedule — the user appears in the provider dropdown when creating appointments and sees only their own appointments on the homepage.
Not active on schedule — the user is hidden from the scheduling dropdown and sees all appointments on the homepage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does disabling a user from the schedule remove their access to Barti?
No. This setting only affects internal scheduling. The user can still log in and access the app normally.
What happens if the user has upcoming appointments?
Barti displays a warning when you disable a user with future appointments. You can still proceed — existing appointments are not removed, but the user will no longer appear as an option for new bookings.
When do changes take effect?
Changes take effect immediately after saving.
How do I manage a user's role or permissions?
See User Management for role and permissions settings.
