Objective
This article outlines the steps to use the AI Scribe feature for transcribing patient information in the anterior and posterior segments.
Key Steps
1. Verify Microphone Activation 0:13
Ensure your microphone is activated in your browser settings.
Check for the blue microphone icon in the browser's search bar.
2. Start the recording
Click the Transcribe button prior to dictating findings.
You can use the AI scribe two ways:
Speak to the patient as if you are conducting an examination. The system will transcribe your spoken words into the appropriate fields.
Example: "Alright, let's take a look at the front of your eye. Looking at your lens, I see cortical cataracts in both eyes."
Dictate findings clearly and concisely. The system will transcribe these findings automatically.
Example: "PVD in the vitreous of both eyes, CD ratio, 0.3 for the right eye, and 0.35 for the left eye."
You can speak in different languages; the system will transcribe into English.
Example: Speaking in Spanish will result in English transcription.

Look for the blue microphone icon in the browser's search bar.
If you need to enable microphone access:
