Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I use a separate domain for email marketing instead of my existing email account? Using a separate domain protects your main domain from being blocked or placed in the spam folder. It reduces the risk of harming your primary domain reputation as you get started with email marketing, ensuring that mission-critical messages are always delivered.

Can recipients respond to marketing emails? Not currently. Use this feature for newsletters, promotions, and outbound messages that do not require a response.

Does Barti email marketing handle unsubscribes? Yes. Unsubscribe management is automatically handled by Barti's email marketing feature. Unsubscribes are applied to all outbound marketing, as required by the FTC.

How many emails can I send per day? To protect your domain reputation, sending limits are applied as you get started:

100

What is the difference between campaign templates and email templates? Email templates are where you design the content of your message. A campaign combines the content (template), the audience (who receives it), and the send time to automate your email marketing.

Once I enable all users to receive marketing emails, will new patients be automatically subscribed? Yes. Once you enable all users to receive marketing emails, each new patient added will be subscribed by default.
