How do I set up my profile and organization settings in Barti?

After logging in, go to your Account Profile to update your personal information, NPI, and license. If you're a practice admin, go to Organization Settings to update your practice name, tax ID, logo, locations, and vendor connections.

Who this is for: All users (Account Profile); practice admins only (Organization Settings).

Before you start, you'll need:

  • A Barti account

  • Your NPI and license number (for providers)

  • Your FAIT or VisionWeb account credentials (for admins connecting vendor accounts)

Set up your Account Profile

  1. Log in to Barti.

  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Account Profile.

  4. Update your personal information as needed.

  5. Add your NPI and license number if you're a provider.

  6. Toggle whether you should appear in the staff dropdown for appointment assignments.

  7. Upload a provider signature if you're an OD.

  8. Click Save.


Set up Organization Settings (admins only)

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Organization Settings.

  3. Update any of the following:

    • Practice name

    • Tax ID and timezone

    • Logo — upload a custom logo for your practice

    • VisionWeb account — connect your VisionWeb credentials for glasses ordering

    • Locations — update location details or add new locations. The location name entered here is what appears in appointment reminder messages.

  4. Click Save after each section.


What you'll see when it works

Your changes save immediately. Updated location names will appear in outgoing appointment reminders going forward. Connected vendor accounts (VisionWeb, FAIT) will be available when creating optical orders.


Troubleshooting

Why don't I see Organization Settings?

Organization Settings is only visible to practice admins. If you don't see it in your profile menu, you don't have admin access. Ask a current admin to make the update, or email support@barti.com to request admin access.

Where do I add my FAIT ECP ID?

Your FAIT ECP ID is added under Organization Settings → Locations, not in the main Organization Settings page. See How do I add my FAIT account to Barti? for step-by-step instructions.
